Talk on the History of Hong Kong

On December 14, one of the most well known historians in Hong Kong, Professor Adem Liu, gave talk on Hong Kong History and sketched the timeline of its developments.
Professor Adam, a retired historian and writer of several books about history of Hong Kong and its developments, was invited to Pearl Institute (Formerly known as Anatolia Cultural & Dialogue Centre) to share in detail about the social changes, progress, fact and figures, development and economic boom along the history of Hong Kong.
In his speech, he emphasized on the reasons behind the developments and economic changes and shed light on the causes behind different facts in the history of Hong Kong.
Professor Adam continued to highlight the geographical importance of Hong Kong, which goes hundreds years back, and how the history begins from opium war and goes on to the handover of Hong Kong.
After his highly knowledgeable and informative talk, he answered some questions raised by the audience and expressed the facts in a humorous way.
