Condolences to the Hong Kong ferry disaster on October 1, 2012

Pearl Institute (Formerly known as Anatolia Cultural and Dialogue Centre) and Turkish community would like to extent our deepest condolences to the victims in the disasters Ferry crash happened on October 1. Words cannot express how deeply sorry we are for those who lost their families and friends.

Pearl Institute and Turkish community’s thoughts and prayers are with your nations’ worthy people and their families.

We are praying that God will give Hong Kong SAR and worth people`s families’ strength and wisdom through this difficult time.

Lamma ferry disaster

A boat owned by Hongkong Electric carrying more than 100 staff workers and their family members collided with a ferry in waters off Lamma Island at about 8.23pm on October 1, 2012. More than 100 passengers on the boat fell into the water,  and at least 38 are confirmed dead. This is the deadliest boat accident in Hong Kong in 40 years.
