EVENT DETAILS
The month of Ramadan (Fasting) has passed with numerous memories of beautiful pictures of togetherness. It was the time of devotion to the God as well as self-training to overcome our own nature.
No food or drink for around 16 hours, waking up at 4am each morning – and all during the hottest summer in years. This has been the challenge for Muslims over the past four weeks of Ramadan, the month of fasting.
But somehow we all felt the strength and endured in such long hours. As one of the perspective in fasting, we all felt what others were feeling. It connected our hearts as Buddhists, Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Businessmen, Professors, Journalists, and Institution leaders, as if we are pieces of one common. During the Ramadan Month we all turned our interests to the one who are feeling hunger and felt one of the biggest cultures of our friends.
Ramadan passed so quickly but left its full of good memories and beautifulness of togetherness. Pearl Institute (Formerly known as Anatolia Cultural and Dialogue Centre) held almost 30 days Iftar Dinner for their distinguish friends.
During the Iftar Dinners all guests broke their fasts with an Islamic Sermon called Athan Call. Later on a presentation about “Ramadan Month and its Benefits” presented by one of the Russian Volunteer of PI. While the sincere friends having their meticulously prepared food, another presentation which was introduction of PI introduced by other volunteers of PI.
