What is the Islamic perspective on democracy? What’ is the ‘Turkish’ perception on politics and Islam? Could Turkish mixing approach of secularism and democracy be a successful model to the Islamic world? We are honored to have Mr. Mehmet Soylemez, a Turkish Ph.D. Candidate from the Department of Government and International Studies HKBU, to share his view on Turkish democratic model and first-hand experience of living in an Islamic society with us.All are welcome!
