Student at Poly U Gathered for Feast

On 30th of October, a group of students organized an event of Feast Festival at Poly U which was sponsored by Pearl Institute (Formerly known as Anatolia Cultural & Dialogue Centre). The event was mainly organized by Turkish and Pakistani community at Poly U with the collaboration of student affair office of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

In the event, about 100 students from different cultures and backgrounds got together and celebrated the famous Sacrifice Feast. The program started with an informative presentation about Sacrifice Feast explaining how it originated and how it is celebrated all over the world by Muslims and what are the practices involved. Following the presentation, students enjoyed the delicious food with cheers and joys reflecting from their faces and the chats and gossip made the whole environment very engaging and friendly.

We, PI, are looking forward to organize and take part in more cultural activities in the future to promote friendship and peaceful coexistence.
